Friendly Visiting
Looking to make a difference in a senior's life? Our Friendly Visiting program provides companionship and support by visiting their matched senior on a scheduled basis. Often, volunteers transport clients in their own vehicles to help them get out of their home. We would prefer for this to be at least one hour a week. The goal of Friendly Visiting is to establish an open and trusting relationship with your match and to provide a listening ear for recollections, interests, joys, and concerns. You may also choose to participate in activities together (whether in or outside the home). Friendly Visiting is the heart of the Senior Connect program—to create relationships and often life-long friendships.
